Hello Kitty!

I'll let it be known now that I have an addiction. . .To Sephora. I go into the store every time I go to the mall and I browse their online store way too often. I'm also a Beauty Insider so I receive emails all the time about special offers and new products that always suck me in. That exact thing happened earlier in December. I received an email about the new Hello Kitty line at Sephora that wouldn't be out until mid-January, but for that particular weekend only, Beauty Insiders and VIB members were invited to a preview sale online. I had to check it out. After looking at everything I fell in love with the nail polishes and a few other thing and added a bunch of items to my basket and went to work. When I got back there was only one thing in my basket! While I was at work everything had temporarily sold out (the sale was in limited quantities). I figured I'd check back the next day. I did just that, had to refresh my page a few times and most of the things I wanted were back in stock. I quickly made my order and that was that! Here's what I got!
Liquid Nail Art $10
Minty, Bubble Gum, Pink Sprinkles, Purple Sprinkles

Charmmy Eyeshadow Stick $16 - Cream Puff

Nail Art Stickers $5 - Rhinestone Flowers
Overview:

The nail polishes
  • not worth $10
  • probably won't last long being that it's so small
  • don't get Pink Sprinkles, too sheer
  • Minty and Bubble Gum (along with Blueberry and Banana Cream) are the ones you want!
  • Just get one or two if you must
  • Purple sprinkles was a pleasant surprise, because it wasn't sheer
  • haven't worn them on my nails so I don't know how they wear and tear yet
Eyeshadow Stick:
  • not the color I wanted (I wanted Birthday Cake or Cupcake, so did everyone else)
  • disappointment
  • not worth $16 at all
  • only swatched it on my hand but it creased and came right off when I rubbed it
  • you're going to need to use a primer to make sure it doesn't crease and stays on
Nail Art:
  • they look so cute
  • haven't used them yet, hope they stay put
  • TIP: put them onto almost dry/dry nails and put thick top coat on

As of today you can now buy all of the Hello Kitty for Sephora online which probably means you'll be able to buy them in stores very soon if not today as well. Have fun shopping!
