First up, here's a more casual, comfy look for everyone. This is more like something I'll be wearing for Thanksgiving I presume, although I haven't decided yet. I don't dress up on Thanksgiving, I don't even usually dress up for Christmas dinner, only for parties or church, but for our family dinners, an outfit like this is perfect! Jeans and/or jeggings are always a staple in my wardrobe as well but leggings may be more forgiving to stuff your face with more food :)
But, if you're looking for a more festive and fun look, say maybe for New Years Eve, I would definitely add some sequins, à la Carly Cristman! This series of pictures is just that, just a bunch of items put together for your viewing pleasure, not a complete look obviously! This is just to show you that there's something out there for everyone, don't be afraid of the sparkle, everyone deserves to shine! I myself bought a sequin mini skirt from Marshalls the other day and can't wait to wear it! Pair it with all back, nude or grey tones, wear some tights or go crazy and wear a few glitter pieces together, there are no rules here, it's all fun and game!

My final option is another more casual one, with a twist, colored denim and some animal print! There are so many ways you can wear colored jeans and now it's hard to find a store that doesn't carry a variety of colored jeans. You can wear them with all black or white and leave the jeans to speak for themselves, or color block. You can also throw in animal prints, which I like to think of as a neutral in their own regard. Leopard and cheetah prints go with anything! You can also think about adding a leather jacket and some studs for an added edge with those bright colors too!
