TAG: Beauty Favorites!

I was tagged by Yuliya or Cutiegingerbread as she is better known, to do this tag. I was so excited and started working on it right away but realized it was harder than it looks, for me anyways, and I may have went into too much detail on some answers, but felt they needed n explination, hope you don't mind! Enjoy!


Foundation: I really don't wear foundation, I much prefer tinted moisturizer, so with that said, I haven't tried  many foundations at all. However, I do really like Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse! I used almost the entire bottle! But, if you want to know my favorite tinted moisturizer, it would have to be the Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30!

Powder: I don't wear powder to set my foundation or anything like that. I've just never found it necessary, especially if you're going to use bronzer/blush, I think adding too many products can be an overload, so I got nothing.

Blush: Blush is not a necessity for me and I don't wear it everyday, although I own a ton, but I love Nars Oasis! It's a deep mauve berry color with gold shimmer. You should definitely check it out, especially for fall!

Bronzer: NYC Sunny has been my bronzer of choice for years. It's cheap, a drugstore buy and it works great!

Concealer: Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer (Medium Beige Light) Although it's extremely expensive, it lasts forever because a little goes a long way and this is another product I've used for years and repurchased!

Highlighter: This is not something I do everyday, but if I do it I'll use a MAC MSF or a Physicians Formula shimmer strips.



Moisturizer: At the moment, and probably what I'll be using it into the winter, I've been using Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion.

Lip gloss: I recently purchased my first Nars lip gloss in Oasis and I have fallen in LOVE! I love the color, texture, and the fact that it's not sticky! It is limited edition though and since I just got it I'll give you a couple more for good measure! I also love MAC creamsheen glasses. The texture on these is so much better than lip glasses! I cannot stand those! From the drugstore, something I always talk about, Revlon Super Lustrous lip glosses, Pink Pop is my favorite!

Lipstick: I'd prefer a lipgloss over a lipstick, it's just less maintenance, but Revlon has some great ones as well and MAC, but I don't really have a go to shade, I like to play around!

Lip Balm: I own so many, this is a tough one! YES to Carrots lip butter in mint is great, organic and I love a mint lip balm because if you don't have gum, it makes it like your breath smells nice! I also like Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm for at night or in the sun because it's thick and has SPF 25! Then, my favorite tinted lip balm is Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Pink Blossom. It's 100% Natural and has a beautiful pink tint a nice sweet smell!

Lip Liner: None! I might own one lip liner from when I was really young, so it should probably be thrown away lol. I don't wear lip liner.

Eye Primer: Well considering I've only ever used one, I'll go with Urban Decay Primer Potion! But, it really does work well and I went in the pool once with a full eyeshadow look on and nothing moved! But, I also don't necessarily like to try a bagillion things if I find something that works!

Eyeshadow: This is another seriously though one. Eyeshadow is a serious weakness of mine but maybe I can give you two here. I'm OBSESSED with Stila's Kitten eyeshadow. It's kinda of the color they're known for, but for good reason and ever since I got it in a pallet, I haven't stopped using it! However, I can't leave this section without mentioning my favorite quad which is from Covergirl. It's an Eye Enhancers quad called Country Woods and it has the most gorgeous neutrals in it! My go to color in that quad is the second color and this is something I've repurchased many times!

Mascara: I don't think that I'll ever feel that mascara is a necessity, FOR ME! I much prefer just to curl my eyelashes and go! I know a lot of people totally disagree but I never used to use it although I've grown to try a lot out through YouTube and currently like Prestige LashMatrix.

Face Brush: My fingers! haha For real people, another thing, brushes are not a necessity for me, although there are a few I'd like to own, for face makeup in particular (foundation especially) I use my hands and fingers, which are also a lot easier to clean :) But, if you were hoping for a real answer here, I LOVE EcoTools brushes for everything! But, again, like I said I don't use a brush for my foundation.

Eye Brush: Again, I love EcoTools brushes, and I also love Target's crease crush.

Nail Polish: Um, if you know anything about me, you know I own A LOT of nail polishes, so again, this is a hard one to narrow down. If I had to pick one, I don't think I could. I'll pick a brand. I really like Essie. They have such a wide range of colors and the color pay off is usually opaque in two coats!

Perfume: Here's a random fact about me, I hate smelly things! I don't wear perfume, I hate candles, smelly lotions, and I can only be in Bath and Body Work for a few minutes at a time and I need to breathe  out of my mouth while I'm in there. I get headaches a lot and I'm externally sensative to smells, like extremely, so perfume has never been my thing. I wish I could wear it sometimes because there are times where I like a smell of a perfume but I like it for that minute, to wear it all day would make me sick! Although, I do own the Britney Spears Curious perfume.


Makeup Brand High End/Drugstore: I don't really have a favorite high end brand. But, drugstore would probably be Wet'N'Wild.

Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil. Rockstar has been my choice all summer!

Makeup Remover: I have two for different types of makeup. To take off my eye makeup and maybe my left over lip product, if it's still there, I swear by Clinique Take The Day Off, for lids, lashes & lips. It doesn't irritate my eyes at all and works like a charm! Then, to take off my face makeup (foundation, blush, tinted moisturizer etc.) I use YES to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes. You can see you're makeup coming off on the cloth, and they give you a nice cooling feel too! Although you don't need to rinse after using these because they don't need water so they don't suds up, I do use a cleanser to wash my entire face, eyes and all, because the Clinique does need to be rinsed off so might as well do my entire face. I have used Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash forever. No sent and this also doesn't irritate my eyes.

Nail Polish Remover: I'm not really particular, I usually use one from Sally's Beauty Supply that's pink. I'm out of it right now so I can't remember if that's the one with or without acetone. Recently I did try a new one by Super Nail that was N/A and supposedly Kiwi scented Enriched with Keratin Protein to help nails. Can't really say it did all that, but it did work well. Also, I just received my order from Zoya from the promotion they had and I bought their famous Remove + so we'll see if this answer changes!


Favorite Drugstore Product: Revlon eyelash curler. I couldn't live without it!
