A day at the Spaaa! An OOTD & more!

No, not that kind of spa, the "Spa" as in the Spa City, as in Saratoga, as in Saratoga Race Track! Have I lost you yet? If you're not familiar with what I'm talking about then hopefully you'll just enjoy the post for what it is. But, for those of you that are familiar with Saratoga Springs, NY and maybe have been to the Track will let me rave a bit! (Also, my new picture that I'm using as my blog header was taken at the track last year!)

I look forward to summer time for a lot of reasons as you may know already, one in particular being baseball season and the Yankees, but I also love Track season and going to Saratoga! I love the city in general but I also absolutely love going to the track to dress up, gamble a bit, eat some Manhattan clam chowder and see the horses! My Dad has been in the horse business most of his life so it's something we all enjoy. Saratoga is so beautiful, you should all go there if you have a chance!

Here's the chowder I speak of...so.good! What' weird is it's it's obviously really hot & you'll be eating it when it's really hot outside, I don't know it's just what you do because it's so good!

So, this past weekend me and my Dad went to the races. It ended up being a pretty nice day, kind of overcast, but you really don't want it to be totally sun-ball when you go because you will melt! There was a nice breeze in the grandstand and there was a nice crowd on hand too.

Now, onto what you really care about, my outfit! I wore this dress that I've had for over a year now, that I've never worn, but this was the perfect dress for the occasion!

So, maybe you're wondering if I won? Well I didn't win any big money but I did win in one race when this horse with a great name name ran and paid $15!! (Clip the Coupons) Yayy me!
