NOTD: Illamasqua Jo'mina

This past weekend I went into Sephora after work bought my first Illamasqua nail polish! There were a good amount of polishes too choose from but there were a few I wanted to try out. So I painted three of my nails with totally different colors. The one I got, a bright coral color, and Milf, which was a minty green that didn't look right on my skin tone. Now, I knew that it would be expensive, but I was going to treat myself, and that's why I didn't just buy one, I had researched and heard about Illamasqua in the past from blogs and youtube, and I took my time, swatched, and then bought it. So, even though it cost a hefty $14, which is the most I've spent on a bottle of nail polish to date, although I'm eyeing some amazing Deborah Lippmann colors, I'd have to say I'm very satisfied. Let's get to the swatches...even though it's hard to capture its greatness in a picture, so if you can, check it out the next time you're in Sephora.

This is a gorgeous, bright, creamy, opaque purple! I absolutely LOVE it!
Two coats is all you need and it applies like a dream!

The only problem I had was this....
I would like to think that this was just a defect maybe? But when I pay $14 for a nail polish I would expect that this wouldn't happen. It's happened to cheaper nail polishes in the past, but like I said I didn't expect it from this brand. It's annoying too because you don't want the top coming off as your painting your nails and then you drop the brush. So I just kept off the square top while I painted my nails to make sure that didn't occur. *Maybe that's what your supposed to do and the square top is just for show?

I also felt like I had a color like this, which bothered me, but it's definitely not a complete match by any means, and I'm not sure you can still get it, but I wanted to show you anyway.
I bought this at Delia*s a while back for about $5 and I love it on my toes, and as you an see it looks like the color in the bottle...
...But not so much on the swatch, but it is close. So I would check Delia*s just for the heck of it because they do have some bright polishes for about $5.

So, do you like this color? Do you own any Illamasqua nail polishes or makeup? Any suggestions if you do? Let me know what you think!
