Nail Of the Day! OPI Katy Perry Teenage Dream

Update! So before I tell you about today's nail of the day I have to mention how well my last one stayed on! In my last nail of the day I was wearing OPI Not Like The Movies, which is also from the Katy Perry collection. I put it on on a Sunday and it didn't chip until Saturday! It lasted almost a full week chip free, which has to be some sort of a record, at least for me! I did use a base coat and an OPI top coat, but I always do, so I think it had something to do with the polish itself. I also wanted to let you all know that the Black Shatter polish was very easy to remove, just like regular polish, if anyone was wondering! 


Okay, now onto todays Nail of The Day! I am wearing a pink disco ball on my nails, a.k.a Teenage Dream. It is an insanely glittery pink polish that will definitely get you noticed. In the pictures below I have on two coats, but if you use a generous first coat, that may just be enough because it is a very chunky, goopy, glitter with a sparkly pink base. (Sorry about my cuticles, they're in pretty bad shape lately, but I had to show you this polish up close, so bare with me.)

I would suggest to use a base coat with any polish as glittery as this one to make it a bit easier to take off, even though I'm sure it will still take some muscle to get this off. I didn't use a top coat, for the sole reason that I did my nails late at night and didn't have time to let them dry. But, if you don't use a top coat, just know that you will feel the glitter and it may catch on clothing or scratch your skin a bit, but if that doesn't bother you then no big deal, otherwise I'm sure a top coat would make this sparkle ever more! Also, if you wanted to use Black Shatter which this I would suspect that you may need a top coat over the polish before you use the shatter.
