I love Essie polishes. The color range is insane and they are carry a few of my all time favorite polishes. This is one of them! Lilacism is such a gorgeous pastel purple. It can be a little streaky but if you use thick coats and let it dry completely in-between coats, two should do the trick (thats what I did). Borrowed & Blue is from their new wedding collection and is another pastel color but this is a brighter color and it's blue obviously. it's a really pretty color, but I didn't love the application. It's really thick and clumpy, but because of the color I still like it!
Then we come to my "bling" finger. Although I think it looks really great, it only came out good on that hand and it took patience for it to get that way. Basically, that polish isn't even a top coat where you could just slap it on and you would get an even amount of sparkle on your nails. What I really like is how unique the chunky glitter in this polish is, but that's also what makes it hard to work with. The other issue is the clear polish that is in there is extremely thick and clumpy. I mean I couldn't even shake the bottle and get the little silver ball in it to move. So, what you need to do to use this is dip the brush into the polish and find the glitter chunks you want and place them on your nails until it looks how you want. The other issue I wound was that was really hard to do because I didn't find a lot of big chunks of glitter like I wanted. So even though this may look good, I haven't decided if I actually like it yet.
A little something extra...On certain holidays, mainly St. Patties Day, I have always painted my dad's pinky with nail polish for the day. He's a big goofball and always let's me do it and I still do so I desided to do more than just paint it for Easter... :) and it matched his shirt too!
Did you do anything to your nails for Easter? I want to see!
So cute!! I hope you don't mind I used one of your pics on my blog post i'll be posting tomorrow... Full credit will go to you! I just wanted an example of 'Eastery nails with sparkles' and I came across one of yours and loved it. :))))
